Added 2021-11-04 03:16:00 +0000 UTCI was at the drive-in for the release of the first Gremlins... I was a scared kid. I didn't have the guts to watch the screen the whole movie.
Years later, I was at the drive-in for the second movie. I didn't like it. There were some major technical problems when the movie started, so when the fake celluloid burned, the whole drive-in started to honk and scream... that was brilliant :P
Now a day, both movies are part of my top ten of the best movies ever.

2021-11-04 18:06:52 +0000 UTCGremlins 1 is a good movie. Gremlins 2 is just bonkers. :-) I always love the little touches in that movie. Like the woman stuck in the revolving door that lasts for several scenes, the weird clamp tower hats and flashlights, the computer voice that slowly melts down until she's replaced by gremlins talking... And Robert Picardo's facial expression of 'Well... Why not?' at the end is priceless.
