How are you doing beautiful people?

I’m ok… still breathing. Still alive. Still as zen as possible.

Sooo… my dad was released from the hospital on Friday. That was a nice surprise. He won’t be walking anymore, but he’s good enough to be home. He ordered a bunch of stuff to adapt his place for his new realities and I should spend the day there next Thursday to install it ( a seat and an handle in the shower… stuff like that ). I’ll also have to o a few errands for him tomorrow.

I’m not naïve. He probably won’t be with us anymore coming Christmas, but at least, he’s home for now.

I also completed 2 ( out of 12) commissions yesterday. I have a 3rd one ready to color but that particular client is always slow to respond to my emails. Published one yesterday, to other will be release today on my HF gallery. But I’ll kept the rest of the day to rest.

This week :

Outside of the few thing I need to do for my father, I should not have any other hiccup this week so I am aiming to finish the work on the X-Men book. Only 2 pages left, and none are overcomplicated, so I think it’s a serious possibility even in a 4 days window. In any case, I should release the PDFs next week.

Afterward, I’ll FINALLY have the time to do the 3 shorts comics promised to my generals and next month I hope to work on a new colab with Tracy Scops

As usual, Thank you SO MUCH for your support. Especially in these times. The covid isolation, my dad… this is not especially a fun moment for me. But knowing you guys are there help a lot. Yes it helps financially, but it helps a lot more psychologically. I am not kidding. So THANK YOU!

PS: I talked about that comic before. It is something I am still proud of even if I think I improved a lot since. What I never told you is that it was not my first try on it. 2 years before, I had started work on it when life got in the way. So what you are seeing here is the same page drawn 2 years apart. Overall I prefer the 2nd version. But looking at it now. I think that on an emotional level, the last 2 cells were stronger on the first version.
