Weekly Update

Hey guys how are you doing?
I’m pretty good al thing considered. And I consider myself pretty lucky.
Had quite a scare on Friday night when my dad had to be hospitalized for the night. As you guys know he has stage 4 lungs cancer. And suddenly he became feverish and very confused. I’ll be honest guys, I thought that was it. But apparently he got better over night and is back in his home with his wife.

As for my production. Only managing one page out of 10 on the new book last week was slightly disappointing. But damn am I happy with the results, so I guess I’ll have to accept the fact that I’m not perfect, and sometime, I won’t be able to do everything I planned. After all those are wished and not arbitrary deadlines I give myself.

Speaking of missed deadline; I’ve spent the whole weekend on it, and I’m ALMOST done with the “Where’s Waldo” pic!!! Holly shit! I think I’ll be able to publish it next week or so. It won’t be on patreon, since it is made for HF with some elements that we all learned by now is not accepted around here, but I will tell you when it’s released and you guys should know by now how you’ll be able to find it.

I’ve finished with the flat colors on all characters and done the integration on the final stage. All that remain is adding the shadows and SOME lighting effects on SOME characters to tie everything together. I’m pretty happy with it and very excited to see everyone's reactions.

Ok, so what’s in store for this week?
Well, I want to do at least 1 page on the X-men comic. 2 if possible.

I also have to start working on a 4 pages comic to do for one of my general who stayed long enough to have 2 X 2 pages and decided to have them being all 1 story. I’ll probably take this reward off the menu BTW. The timings are always a nightmare to deal with and some generals never got their rewards in the end because they disappeared on me before I could get to it.

And of course, the “Where’s Waldo” pic I just mentioned. I’m so close, I can almost taste it :P and I actually have to make an effort and stop myself tonight so I can get some rest and be able to work on the new page tomorrow morning.
