At the end, I go a little deeper into the filmmaking side of things because after watching, I was pumped. Genuinely felt my creative side going through the roof. I'm so glad Arcane is back and yes, I may not know all the characters, can't even remember everything that happened in the first season but I am LOVING THIS!! I hope you enjoy hanging out with me on this one.

There's specific shots in the Season 2 intro sequence with certain characters that are direct references to specific classic plays (which, notably, are all tragedies). There's a shot with Caitlyn that's a direct Macbeth reference, there's a shot with Jinx that's a Les Miserables reference (probably the most obvious one, the shot with her waving the flag), there's a Julius Caesar reference shot with Ambessa, and there's a Phantom of the Opera reference shot with Viktor.

Edit: just to answer the question at the end whether the hooded figure at the end was Silco - no. That's Singed, the scientist from the first season who created the purple shimmer drug.
