I'm back to filming again and this is up first!
Added 2024-08-03 11:16:26 +0000 UTCI know Halo OG won the last Halo poll but when it came to me trying to find all the cutscenes/game movie on YouTube, they literally only gave me the cutscenes. Since I've been doing more game movies on the channel, I've enjoyed seeing the full story with the gameplay included. I never played the anniversary edition either so for me, I made the decision and Halo CE Anniversary was the way to go.
I am curious to see the differences between them now so I might make another video comparing them or seeing what they did, especially with the cutscenes.
I apologise to those who wanted the original Halo and I hope you can forgive me.

2024-08-06 11:10:21 +0000 UTCGenuinely was thinking the other day when playing it would love to hear your take on how much all the lighting changes change the atmosphere compared to the original. They also wanted to alter the camera angles and animation of cutscenes but decided against this, although pre-release footage of said alterations have recently been published.

2024-08-03 13:15:52 +0000 UTCAll good mate. Looking forward to it. There is a major difference many fans have with ce og and anniversary. Firstly, the lighting is vastly different. The og has a much more dark, haunting atmosphere while the anniversary is brighter and more vibrant. This changes the themes the og was trying to convey especially in later missions ie 343 guilty spark mission. Also the anniversary edition uses a lot of halo reach assets as the game came out just after reach and chronological as well. Some assets change the models of the og and its hit and miss for fans. I could go on for while but I would be writing a novel. When I play halo ce I tend to use the og graphics but that’s personal preference and nostalgia. Still glad you got to watch the anniversary cutscenes/ game and looking forward to the video.
