Are those 3d coins inserted into a 2d atmosphere?, that is the evolution of animation taking place. Sort of what Sony is doing, yet adding characters from different animation styles in order to achieve a separate look. Or it’s just simple shapes inserted into order to fulfill the complete spherical design of the coin, smart technique.
