Just a little slice-of-life cat update...
Those of you who've attended any of our recent livestreams might know that Fable (series director) was basically being carpet bombed by the Cat Distribution System all spring and summer. They've been going to lengths to find homes and rescues, vet care, and spay-neuters for the neighborhood cats, but the kittens kept coming. Meanwhile, I lost three of my feline old men between 2022 and 2023, which had left me pretty bereft and the house more empty than usual. I figured it was an opportune time to pitch in.
And so, Jimmy Carter has arrived! Here he is, being a goof.
Maya is not the least bit pleased about the tiny interloper right now. If only I could remind her that was her lot some years back.
(She'll come around eventually.)

I’m in a university dorm so I’m not in a position to get a pet (my neighbor has a cat in her dorm room and she’s adorable). I’m glad he has a happy home with someone who clearly loves cats!
