That Cinematic Look?
Added 2024-02-07 12:53:53 +0000 UTCHi guys, I was looking through some imagery of mine from last year and I came across this shot, I jokingly titled it the Star Wars shot.
This is quite simply just part of a tree branch but look how epic and beautiful it looks, could you imagine the power this image would have if it were a model/actor? I say this a lot in my breakdowns but the cinematic look really means a scene that is backlit. The key light (main source of light) is from behind the subject.
Top tip next time you take a photo on your phone, have the main light source come from behind and watch what it does to your imagery.
