Friday Night Beach Chat #32

Another week comes to a close, it's quite peaceful here in Paradise. Time for a quick progress update!

For those who might not have noticed, version 0.4.3 that I released this week featured my new logo in the splash screen.

Pretty cool looking, but it does have one problem. When it's large like above one might not notice what the devil is doing right away. But when it's small:

It becomes very obvious right away, like a crop circle you have to get up high to see the whole scope of it. This poses some problems when using it as a logo on Patreon for example. It's a little too spicy.

Hahaha so I might have to add a censor bar.

I dunno, I thought that was amusing.

Moving on to the update; work is progressing as usual. This Chapter at least for the non-harem routes is going to be a little different than what I've produced thus far. The Mansion party will be somewhat of a free roam type thing. I hesitate using that term because it comes with certain expectations and baggage. Like everything I do, I like to put my stamp on it. Instead of the party being a linear story; you will create the story of how the party went for your MC.

You will "roam" around the party talking and meeting new people and participating in events. You wil run into familiar faces you've come across already. There will be random encounters as you wander the mansion that could send the story in a whole different direction.

Here is a little taste of the new characters they may only ever be encountered at the mansion party. Some of them may return in the future we shall see.

First if you are on QOS path; poor MC will encounter Caleb's sister, London:

And a group of friends on vacation just like you.:

There will be games/events taking place in various parts of the mansion that you can opt to take part in. You will not be able to do all of them, the night is not long enough. :-) So you will have to choose which one's you take part in.

I still have to see if I can find a place for a mud wrestling event.

Chapter 4 also starts the full separation of some paths. On one NTS path for example you can choose to not go to the mansion party and instead play with Makani or rather Makani will play with you. ;-)

The Harem path will see the possibility of making Amanda an enemy of the MC. Which will alter the future of the story significantly. So if you feel miffed about Amanda sleeping with Greg you'll get your chance to tell her how you feel. Whether making Amanda your rival is a good idea...you'll just have to find out.
