Sir Kay's Drawback

The first illustration of December is finished!

"All right boy," Sir Ector said as he slid the sword back into the anvil. "Let's have the miracle." His adoptive son Arthur, nicknamed Wart, had presented Ector and his son Kay with the blade, claiming to have drawn it from the anvil atop a stone in a small church yard in London town.

Of course they didn't believe the boy. This was the fabled sword in the stone that was said to be able to be drawn forth only by the true king of England. So here they all were in the church yard waiting to see the young boys' claims put to the test.

Wart stepped forward to try once again to pull the sword out.

"Now wait a minute!" Kay shouted as he stepped in and pulled Warts hand away.

"Anyone can pull it once it's been pulled." Kay grabbed a hold of the sword but it didn't budge. He pulled again. And again. Then suddenly a bright light shone down upon him and Kay felt something happen.

That something was not the sword moving though. It was Kay's armor vanishing and his naked body being left on display for all to see! To make matters worse it was cold, which left much to be desired below his fiery red bush pubes.

Kay gave a very undignified yelp and ran to hide himself beside a small snowy thicket.

While the naked knight was certainly a sight to behold, the crowd watching the event found themselves focused suddenly on the young boy removing the sword and the heavenly light once more shining down from on high to proclaim his worthiness to be king.

"Kay!" Sir Ector shouted at the nude man. "Get over here and bow down to your king!"
