0.6 - Goals and Progress

Currently I'm focusing on two major aspects of gameplay -- crafting and body tempering. Crafting will be a large part of Heavenly Peaks, as you will be able to use the items you make to solve many problems, empower yourself or others, give gifts and more.

Body Tempering was mentioned previously, but I didn't go into a ton of detail. Essentially you will have several aspects of your body to improve. Doing so will yield you several benefits, along with making you tougher and stronger overall.

Each time you rank up, your tempering starts from 0, so it will be up to you to re-do the process. However, it's not always necessary and it's left up to you. You can consider this a "power stabilization" stage, where if you properly take the time you will be  more powerful than someone who didn't.

To temper your body just requires you to set your focus to a particular part of your body and do focus meditation.

As for the crafting, the system is simple and allows for near infinite tinkering once set up.

Materials can be crafted by name or category. Each material can have up to 3 categories. For example :

Herb
Category -"Medicine", "Plant"

When using an Herb to craft, you can use it in any recipe that specifically calls for Herb, or any recipe that needs a "medicine" or "plant" as an ingredient.

When crafting, the material also has a list of effects associated with it. These effects will trigger when the item is used. For example a Healing Potion with "Extra Heal" as an effect might restore more health than a normal Healing Potion.

In this way you can create a range of items with different effects.

I'm currently revamping the Items class and working towards implementing this in the game. This , along with more story content is already in the works.
