The Courtyard was completed a couple weeks ago. Yay! But since I haven't rendered the new intro animation yet, here is an older WIP intro animation I made. And yes, the courtyard BGM music sounds different since it is a remix to go along with the newly renovated courtyard. It is very lively here today!

Pirates of the Garden-ean

With our lucky poll winner being Nami, I figured that this would probably be my only chance to add something "cute and pirate-themed" to the game. So I went ahead and made a new OC who is a gardener and, for some reason, enjoys dressing up as a pirate. Err, I mean... Happy Halloween! 🎃

I expect to be finished with the Outdoor Garden this week, so I'm counting it as completed. Sadly, what this means is that we won't be seeing any more previews of our little pirate for a while. Plus, I don't want to give out too many spoilers.

So this isn't actual game-play footage, but a mockup of the new Battle UI I am working on (showing a black background to showcase it would be too boring, lol). I haven't decided yet which transitions and overlay effects I want to keep, so this video is a compilation of the the ones I liked overall (if you have a favorite let me know!). The main improvements I am focusing on are the character avatars and health bars in the top left, as well as having a different attack menu per character.

As for the enemy that they will be facing on Day 4, which I plan to showcase in a later development post, they will be up against a Seductive Succubus who, for some weird reason, enjoys spanking...
