Diary entry 9 ❤️ Getting back to normal.. sort of..

Hope you are all well.. In the UK people have started getting back to work after lockdown.. What is it like where you are?

I am going to post about what I used to do in fashion but it’s going to be a long one and I really don’t have the energy right now so am going to make this post  instead.. 

I’ve been sorting thru legal stuff with my dad and trying to find  myself a new home.. After travelling like crazy for the best part of 2 years it took a pandemic for me to be back in England long enough to sort it out 🤦‍♀️ I’ll be moving into a barn conversion in the countryside (hopefully) in August.. I‘m so excited to make it all cosy and move in with my dog.. then get another one.. or three ☺️

Now lockdown is being lifted in most of the UK many of us are going back to work.. Working in aesthetics meant being one of the last to be able to though, as we’re considered ‘high risk’ being so close to peoples’ faces.. 

I haven’t injected in a while so will be shadowing the doctor who trained me and learning some new advanced techniques.. I’ll also be doing permanent makeup, Aqualyx fat dissolving and Botox at the end of August, which I’m really excited about.. I posted a little bit about this already but it’s amazing what can be done now.. 

In terms of fillers we can give a girl or guy a much slimmer or smaller looking nose  using just injections or threads (these ‘pull‘ the skin up).. We can get rid of a double chin or a little bit too much fat on the tummy (it’s obvs not a replacement for lipo but we can take care of small pockets of fat quite easily without surgery)..

Eventually I’d love to learn how to do the more expert semi permanent makeup/tattooing for people who‘ve had Breast Cancer and gone thru reconstruction or those with birthmarks or Vitiligo (loss of pigment in the skin).. Summer is turning out to *very* busy..

From today face masks have become mandatory in most public places in England.. I have a filler appointment in the morning and am going to have to mask up on the way there there and back.. It’s still all seems very surreal even though we‘re trying to return back to normal but please everyone stay safe xx

Forgot to mention I’m  going to Colombia (and perhaps Brazil too, though I know they are going thru a very tough time at the moment) if it reopens as planned at the beginning of September.. The airline is taking bookings again though of course things may change and get worse again between now and then.. 

Damn, my ‘short’ entry ended up much longer than planned 😏
