Diary entry 7 part 1 ❤️

People say never to talk about politics or religion, so if course that’s what I‘m going to do today lol

I’ve been questioning a lot lately, perhaps it’s a side effect of being cooped up indoors because of the Coronavirus situation..

I decided to google my old school, Moira House, and saw it was closing down.. It was an all girls school and pretty strict and traditional (I only went to girls schools till I was 16).. I think they didn’t adapt well enough to changing times.. I looked at their website and even now in 2020 jeans are not allowed to be worn 🤷‍♀️ No jeans, no leggings, no trainers.. Made me wonder what they would make of me now 😛

So yeah I was in quite a conservative environment for much of my days thru mu childhood, though my own parents weren’t particularly strict at home.. At one point someone thought it would be a good idea that because I was Muslim I should go off to Muslim camp (yes, such places do exist lol).. As you can imagine I didn’t do very well there and got told off every single day and never went back again 😂😂😂

I would get told I was showing too much skin, that I shouldn’t have been wearing makeup and talking to boys.. I turned up in a crop top (though I did wear a jacket over it) and I think from the moment they saw me they realised I was going to be a handful..

I’ve never been religious and resented being told what to do.. Obviously I answered back 😉 My mum was a bit mortified when news got back to her of her ‘feisty’ daughter.. My dad though found it very amusing..

I may have been a little crazy but compared to a couple of other people who were there the same trip I think I turned out alright in the end.. One of the guys who was there was jailed a few years back for stealing a couple of hundred thousand pounds from the National Health Service and another was linked to terrorism.. Having huge fake boobs at least is not hurting anyone 😊💙

As for politics things seem to be getting crazier and crazier.. I do lean liberal but for this evening I’ll leave it at that..
