Short-term pain for long-term gain ;)
Added 2018-10-06 22:52:18 +0000 UTCI wanted to let you all know that I'm coming to the end of my treatment after 2 months. Oxygen therapy, wound vac and surgery to clean out the pockets.. I'll be able to fly home by late next week or the week after..
I'm still in LA and don't want to do the long 10/11 hour trip home in one go as I bled during the last flight and it was a little scary so I'll probably try and split it into two bits with a stop in New York again..
I'm bandaged up nearly all day so not been able to show off the boobs (or much in the mood too tbh).. I'll post some pics and/or vid tomorrow.. I still take the antibiotics but almost finished now.. The longest I have been on meds my entire life..
People in LA are pretty patient and kind and that's something I really appreciate when I'm a bit slow pushing my suitcase or getting into the car because I've been ill.. Sometimes they'd see I was limping from my drains being in and say lay down in the back seat so it's more comfortable.. Isn't it funny how grateful you become for all the little things you tend to forget about whilst you're healthy..
Some are surprised I'm not unhappy lol.. What is there to be unhappy about? I'm here and I got thru it 😊 I'm going to let my body rest for a few weeks then continue my plastic journey..
