Dieses erste Shooting des Jahres im Januar war für mich etwas ganz Besonderes. Troy, ein Fotograf aus New York, dem ich seit mehreren Jahren auf Instagram folge (@troybflying_photography2), hatte mich gefragt, ob ich ihm bei der Kontaktaufnahme mit Frankfurter Modellen unterstützen könnte. Er ist Pilot bei einer großen amerikanischen Fluglinie, und Frankfurt wurde in seine reguläre Liste von Flugzielen aufgenommen, sodass er hier gerne fotografieren würde.

Ich wusste bereits aus der Vergangenheit, dass er gerne mit Anastasia shooten würde, also schlug ich vor, dass wir einfach zu dritt shooten könnten.

Anastasia konnte an den Tagen, an denen er das nächste Mal als Pilot nach Frankfurt fliegen würde, terminlich jedoch leider nicht mit uns arbeiten. Daher entschied er sich kurzerhand, an einem Wochenende Ende Januar als Cockpitbegleitung bei einem anderen Flug mitzufliegen, um mit Anastasia und mir zu fotografieren. Es war spannend zu sehen, wie Troy und ich abwechselnd die jeweiligen Ideen und Outfits von Anastasia fotografisch interpretierten.

Die heutige Bildstrecke war die erste, die ich an diesem Tag mit Anastasia fotografiert habe.

This first shoot of the year in January was something very special for me. Troy, a photographer from New York whom I've been following on Instagram for several years (@troybflying_photography2), asked me if I could help him get in touch with models in Frankfurt. He is a pilot for a major American airline, and Frankfurt was added to his regular list of destinations, so he wanted to photograph here.

I already knew from the past that he'd like to shoot with Anastasia, so I suggested that the three of us could just shoot together.

Unfortunately, Anastasia was not available on the days he would next be flying to Frankfurt as a pilot. Therefore, he spontaneously decided to come along as an extra crew member on another flight on a weekend at the end of January to photograph with Anastasia and me. It was exciting to see how Troy and I took turns interpreting Anastasia's ideas and outfits photographically.

The photo series today was the first one I shot with Anastasia that day.
