Laura Giraudi ist ein professionelles Modell aus Paris mit großer Erfahrung in der Aktfotografie. Das Besondere an diesem Shooting war, dass wir beide zuvor keinen direkten Kontakt hatten; die komplette Buchung wurde von einem meiner Bekannten als Booker koordiniert. Bei professionellen Modellen finde ich dies oft spannend, da sie nicht durch meine zuvor auf Instagram veröffentlichten Bilder beeinflusst werden.

Zu Beginn des Shootings zeige ich den Modellen meist zwei Fotoalben auf meinem iPad: eines mit ausgewählte Arbeiten von mir, und ein zweites mit Bildern aus verschiedenen Quellen, die ich inspirierend finde. Meist reichen wenige Sekunden mit diesen Fotoalben, um dem Modell einen gewissen Einblick in meine visuelle Vorstellung zu geben.

Dieses Shooting ist das zweite einer Serie von vier, bei denen ich an vier Tagen in ein und demselben Zimmer vier unterschiedliche Frauen mit der Zielsetzung, ihre individuelle Persönlichkeit durscheinen zu lassen, fotografiert habe. Laura Giraudi is a professional model from Paris with extensive experience in nude photography. What was unique about this shoot was that we had no direct contact beforehand; the entire booking was coordinated by one of my acquaintances who acted as a booking agent. With professional models, I often find this intriguing since they aren't influenced by the photos I previously published on Instagram.

At the start of the shoot, I usually show the models two photo albums on my iPad: one with selected works of mine, and a second with images from various sources that I find inspiring. Typically, a few seconds with these albums is enough to give the model some insight into my visual concept.

This shoot is the second in a series of four, where over four days in the very same room, I photographed four different women with the aim of letting their individual personalities shine through.
