2021-08-23 06:26:08 +0000 UTCThis seems like a decent time to mention that you can somewhat tell an alchemist's skill by the amount of transmutation marks they leave behind on the object when they finish transmuting. You can see that Al often leaves a lot of marks, and the people who hid the door in the Third Laboratory lefts some behind as well. Alex Armstrong almost never leaves any, which could be taken as evidence that he is actually one of the most skilled alchemists. (At least in the sense of perfection in his work.) He may not be the most flexible in his transmutation, but what he does transmute, he does to perfection.
