Nagi's transformation from the phantom of the opera house to christine is so much like Arima's transformation when he realizes that he doesn't have to play to the score like he was taught instead he can play with feeling is such a great comparison! and if you pay attention to Nagi's inner monologue during the performance its similar to the older piano girls inner monologue in Koesi's and Takashi's year... I was in the same boat my hands were to small growing up when i wanted to learn how to play an instrument..
