2021-06-22 21:37:19 +0000 UTCI kind of want to see a mixed teams event, I mean ... teaming up with heroes you met on the scene and need to quickly adapt has got to be a thing. I wonder, Urukaka could become a powerhouse if she could 'invert' her power ... increased gravity ... GRAVITY CRUSH!

2021-06-22 08:14:54 +0000 UTCI think the only reason that Deku sees things when Shinso brainwashes him is that he never calms his mind in normal life. He is constantly thinking, so he never has a chance to listen to the voices of One for All. His great strength is also hindering him.

2021-06-22 05:18:30 +0000 UTCFellow anime-only here. I those are really solid theories. My personal thoughts on them are that All Might pushed the physical power more than the other users. This can be inferred because of his ubiquity, and the relative anonymity of Nana Shimura, who preceded him. (that can in part be due to his personality and drive to be a symbol, but even then, he needed that raw power to achieve his goal.) While the stockpiling would have eventually reached that point anyway, I believe that All Might trained the quirk to the extreme, and accelerated that process. All Might also did not need to train much if at all to adapt to the power, so he did not have the same depth of connection to it that Deku does. Because Deku has had to slowly (relative to All Might) immerse himself in the quirk, he has connected to it on a different axis than All Might did. (this could be summed up by your point about mindset. Deku is using his power to help individuals, while All Might used it to help the world.) This connection to the quirk, in addition to the growth that All Might gave One for All, is what makes him the prime wielder. Just my two cents for your awesome theories.

2021-06-22 04:32:56 +0000 UTCSo I love All Might. We all love All Might. He was a great person and a great hero. Super strong. Big Smash. Bit of a smol brain though if we're really being honest. Not a manga reader but my working theories for reason Deku is the one to perfect One For All is: A) He's the first person with the right amount of quirks, brain, and spirit to handle it's full potential. As we talked about, All Might, not the brightest. Maybe it could have been Nana but she didn't have the right mindset since she wasn't born quirkless (think Captain America 1, "A weak man knows the value of strength.") Or maybe she had the quirks and the mindset, but enough strength hadn't stockpiled up yet to control everything. B) Pretty much that last part of A. Maybe now is the time because the stockpiling quirk has finally collected enough strength with everything Midoriya has done on top of All Might's power level. C) Similar to how All For One reacted to "hearing his brother's voice", maybe One For All can sense the weakness of AFO and knows the time is right. D) This one's pretty conspiratorial and I don't want to put it into anyone's head if they're not on the same track, but there's someone we know was working with AFO in the present that we've seen in the series previously who interacted with Midoriya. I could see it being the "typical shonen plot twist" (I don't say that as a bad thing, but it is a pretty common trope) of Deku being born with something special that we're not going to find out about until the time is right.

2021-06-22 02:25:09 +0000 UTCWorship the Great Grape God at r/ChurchofMineta. Seriously though Mineta is smart and has been a reliable teammate. Yes he did calculate the protectory of twin impact to protect Mina and uh other things, but he doesn't do anything in the field to compromise the team.
