The two that are out are both very good in my opinion, and are mostly self-contained. The "Special" takes place between Violet's time with Iris and her writing for the Princess of Drossel, giving a better idea of how she grew in the interim and why she was picked for such an important assignment as public love letters. It also sets up a minor detail for a scene later on. The movie takes place later in the timeline, but I'm not sure exactly when, and again is pretty independent. Definitely both worth a watch.

Thank you. :) Even though this is a slower episode, I love how it gives insight into Violet, but also highlights how grief and loneliness can paralyze people. Because moving on can seem like forgetting, and so some people don't move forward at all. "Grief is love with nowhere to go" and wile Violet is helping all these people, she's also learning the things she needs to be able to help herself.
