This was painful !!!

Actually it felt like a nightmare to rigg this model ^^;

I have never done weight-painting before.... so i had a lot to learn... and i'm still far from professional xD But i made some progress...

Of course i've done animation before, but as you may remember just with robots ^^

Since they have techno-parts that do not bend at all...and for that reason do not need any weight paint in blender.. it was way easier to animate :) But.... of course we want to add some other characters and maybe some small people in the background who get stomped .... so some animation would be very helpful...

And... of course we wanted to add Lyxe for quiet a while .. and her model is specially complicated since she has a tail and 6 gill-extensions on her head that all need rigging and weight-painting too ^^

So ... had a hard time with this... and the model is still not perfect and has some issues and artifacts ... but it is good enough for the next few episodes ^^

So i really wonder how it will feel to finally see her in the upcoming episode :)
By the way.... this was the biggest problem we had .. so now with this out of the way we will probably have good and fast progress with the episode from now on ^^

(had some computer issues too which are also resolved by now.. so i'm optimistic) :)

What do you think? Looking forward to see Lyxe? Or more interested of seeing tiny animated people getting stomped by Ryung? xD
