$5 is completely fine. Most likely people are leaving because of the holidays.

The other point is, that the most people here support more then one artist. At the end its easy spend a lot for support wich leads tho the pont, that you have to sort things from time to time. Plus there is a lot of free content outside this platform. I can choose if it’s worth the money to get the art two or four weeks early. For me is 5 $ the upper end. I would prefer 3 $ but I also know, that this side takes a big pease of your earnings. As I wrote, a hard question.
