Friendly reminder

Hey friends, just a reminder to those of you who cancel your subscription to this, your favorite place for stories, that it would be great if you could tell me why you're leaving. Many of you leave for a while and then come back, so I have a little peace of mind if you tell me you're just leaving for financial reasons, but plan to return. If you're leaving because you think my art isn't worth it, then it's best not to say anything, because it depresses me... although, now that I've said it, I'm going to start believing that every time you leave without saying anything it's because you think my art sucks...

I'm already depressed...

You know what? Never mind...

Yeah, I think I did something similar with some options, but I can do without the options...

I like your work Tlame. Especial the hard anal stuff, that's my niche and your comics have done it well.

Cracklemere

Why not pose a poll asking why people are staying and what they enjoy about your work and would like to see more of? Seriously that message when you unsub is pointless because nobody thinks anyone is gonna read it, and if it's for personal reasons then people may wish simply not to mention it.

Cracklemere

There is no way people leave because your art sucks! That is just ridiculous. Your 3D art is maybe the best? But possibly it's the economy, because it seems things are tough all over. If you are living paycheck to paycheck, then every dollar counts, I guess. Then again, a lot of guys can be cheap too. For example, a lot of artists on DA have thousands of followers, but only a few who actually subscribe, so that says a lot to me too..

Transporter

I joined because of your art and storylines. Please keep up the good wokr.

To be fair to them, the Patreon "questionaire" upon leaving a creator is pathetic. The list of reasons for leaving to choose from doesn't really contain reasons people are usually leaving for and it is really badly worded in most cases. Yes, you have the option to fill in your own reason, but people are rarely willing to write an essay, even if it were just two sentences. They just click the first option. :D

All I can say is that I came because your art is worth supporting. I was tired of always having to wait a long time and often only being able to admire your works in part. If I ever leave, it will only be for financial reasons, and I would definitely come back (if I had more money). You make very good art, keep it up. And thank you for that...

Harald

Yeah, I need to retake my big boobs superheroines...

Firstly, this is the only subscription I've currently kept so far, so that should tell you something about your work. I like your style and the majority of kinks you have in your comics. When I cancel it's normally because the artist is straying from the content I originally subscribed for or has a very slow production rate - you're definitely not in the category of the latter, which is why I stay. I haven't cancelled this subscription yet, but if I do, it's most likely because I liked your earlier stories like Wonder Woman's Last Mission and the Powergirl vs Milkman, Scarlet Witch & Thor, and the Hermione one, BUT you also create a variety of comics that I don't care much about since they're not similar to those. I do understand though, since you also have to please other readers. And since you have such a high production rate, I don't mind waiting around for the next stories to come.

I agree with Mr. Simon. Your art keeps getting better so people leaving you for it is an absurd idea. They are probably lying, or just turned blind. Financing or not close enough to their particular fetish seem much more likely.

I know, my friend, and thanks for the input, you are absolutly right.

I don't think that is the case for most people. When somebody joins your Patreon, it's because they LIKE your style. It wouldn't make sense to leave because suddenly they realize that it sucks. :D I have to say, I do that, sometimes, usually when I go through my financials and think "shit, I am spending too much money on this" So then I cancel some of my subscriptions and start to alternate. Like, half a year I support this group of artists, another half a year another group. Some people I support for a while, because for example I like one thing they are doing only and don't care about the rest of their projects, etc. The only reason to completely cancel for me, though, is when the artist completely changes their style or type of work to something that no longer interests me. I did stop supporting some people who switched completely to AI tools for their visuals, for example. So anyway, the two main reasons why people disappear are: 1) none of your currently running comics interest them and they might come back later once you've started with something new. 2) they don't have enough money to support everybody they like. Which also mean they may be back, sooner or later. But I would be so bold as to state that NOBODY who have supported you left because they suddenly noticed "wow, this sucks." That just doesn't make sense. :)

Chris Simon

Thanks, my friend!

I never canceled since I arrived into your account. So I think it's my answer how is my opinion regarding your works. Go Tlameteotl go!

gr8funk85

Yeah, I love what I do and, even in commissions, I have the luck of have very good ideas coming up.

Tlameteotl

I create my art because I love what I do!! So I would say, you have a similar outlook on your work. It's always great when you can make a some money from work like this.
