The thing that really stood out to me, and that I haven't seen discussed (doesn't mean it hasn't been) is how, although Powder thinks she is responsible for all the bad stuff (is a Jinx), we see that it is Vi's absence, NOT Powder/Jinx's absence that makes literally the entire world a better place in the alt timeline. And it was Vi who took the mean nickname, and then imprinted it on Powder at her absolute most vulnerable time (not saying I don't get how completely messed up Vi was in that moment).
And then you think about how Vi was the one leading the raids (against Vander's instructions), turning herself in (against Vander's wishes), attempting the rescue (against Vander's wishes).... it is Vi who incites events getting worse every time.
The best thing that ever happened to Powder in the alt timeline was losing Vi.

Something that really interested me, especially on the second watch, was the parallels between Viktor and Mel. Both coming from such wildly different backgrounds but having the arcane forced upon them in different ways. Mel being born with her powers compared to how Viktor had to augment his body may represent a sort of gap in privilege, with Mel also being born into power and wealth. These parallels are present in both seasons, especially in regards to their relationship and interactions with Jayce.

I would like to suggest a list of videos here.
After finishing Arcane, I recommend the following videos as a follow-up::
- “Welcome to Noxus - Bite Marks (ft. TEYA) | 2025 Season 1 Cinematic - League of Legends” (5:03). It's actually a cinematic for the new League of Legends season, but it has an Arcane reference, and by the way, it contains a small sequel to what happens after Arcane.
- “Still Here | Season 2024 Cinematic - League of Legends (ft. Forts, Tiffany Aris, and 2WEI)” (4:19). The cinematic is about Kindred, who also appears in the Ambessa cinematic (Blood Sweat & Tears ft. Sheryl Lee Ralph | Official Music Video - League of Legends).
- “Worlds 2021 Show Open Presented by Mastercard: Imagine Dragons, JID, Denzel Curry, Bea Miller, PVRIS” (13:58). Arcane was teased in this show.
- “Worlds 2024 Finals Opening Ceremony Presented by Mastercard ft. Linkin Park, Ashnikko and More!” (12:03). Included two Arcane songs and also “Still Here” so I can recommend that too.
After the videos above, you can dive into the lore videos by Necrit, which I recommend in the following order:
- “League's Universe Explained For Arcane Fans” (30:32)
- “What Is The Black Rose? (Arcane Lore Explained)” (21:26)
- “The Lore of The Bite Marks Cinematic Explained” (28:50)
- “The Lore of Ambessa's Cinematic Explained” (30:20)
- “The Lore of ‘Still Here’ Cinematic Explained” (29:04)
- “The ‘Still Here’ Lore References Got Crazier” (14:43)
After that, I can also recommend:
- “Where is Arcane Going Next?” (16:46)
- “Riot Revealed How Arcane Affects Canon Lore” (1:56:53). It's an interview with Christian Linke.
Finally, I can recommend the following videos. Maybe not necessarily to react to them, but just to watch in private, because they are quite long, especially the ones for season 2:
- “The Hidden Details Of Arcane - Act 1” (20:56)
- “The Hidden Details Of Arcane - Act 2” (26:39)
- “The Hidden Details Of Arcane - Act 3” (30:33)
- “The Hidden Details of Arcane 2 - Act 1” (1:39:34)
- “The Hidden Details of Arcane 2 - Act 2” (1:33:43)
- “The Hidden Details of Arcane 2 - Act 3” (1:59:11)
If you want to dive deeper into the rabbit hole of this universe, there is still a lot I could recommend, but I'll just leave it with what I think is relevant for Arcane.

I don't recommend doing the cinematics, as they are, for the most part, not related to arcane. Only do them if you are interested in the lore of Runeterra outside of Piltover & Zaun. Even then, most of them are promos for the game or just good music with nice animation.

if you don't want to watch all the cinematics, in my opinion the cinemtaics from the year 2019, 2020 and 2022 - 2025 are the best. In the cinematic from the year 2020 are Cait and Vi and the cinematic from the year 2025 could be a teaser for the next series.

I’d love to see a video where you just talk about your opinions about the show, what you liked, what you didn’t, your interpretation of the themes of the show

- maybe the Teaser video of season 1 on the burj Khalifa
("Arcane: Lighting Up the Dubai Skyline | Burj Khalifa Video", 3 minutes long)
- The LoL World championship opening ceremony from 2021. There are some cool extra scenes and a live adaption of the "Playground" scene.
("Worlds 2021 Show Open Presented by Mastercard", 14 minutes long)
- The Jinx get jinxed music video
( "Get Jinxed (ft. Djerv) | Official Music Video", 3 minutes long)
- all cinematics from 2009-2024. It is nice to see the evolution of the animation. Also the cinematics from 2019 and 2020 were the reason i wanted to watch Arcane, because I thaugt a series with this quality would be awesome. My expectations were blown away. XD
("ALL LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CINEMATICS (2009=2024)", 40minues long, maybe livestream?)
( - maybe a cool music video("Warriors (ft. Imagine Dragons) | Worlds 2014 - League of Legends", 3min long))

Someone else posted this in the chat a while ago, but a playthrough of 'Jinx Fixes Everything' would be cool to see. They are 5-10 minute escape rooms with some cool lore that were released with each act. Playable versions are linked here: https://wiki.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/Jinx_Fixes_Everything

Necrit's lore video(s), especially the one about the general lore of the World. Makes sense to watch after you finished Season 2 and watched the "Bite Marks" Music Video / Cinematic (which you should watch after finishing Season 2 of Arcane.
This could give you more info about the world, as well as context, less so about the specific characters though
