Death note was famous when I was young, i liked it. I believe there even was a real version of it a few years ago? I recommend looking it in japanese with english subtitles (animes in general tbh) because of translation differences and synchronisation :)

2025-02-06 19:25:58 +0000 UTCI consulted a specialist copyright lawyer - that’s as close as I can realistically get. I’m aiming for the four concepts so I can make a decent argument if needed. Ive already been in the position several times of getting to the legal stage and they’ve all been dropped so far - either because they don’t want to spend the money or they think my use is actually fair. Like you say only a judge can make that decision but I want the best chance I have if it goes that way.

Anyone telling you what you’re doing is legally in the wrong would be lying to you. It’s currently not known. Hopefully that was communicated to you

You will see that Light genuinely think that what he is doing is good and no one should stop him (in that scene when he is telling Ryūk that he is a hardworking student with top grades he is looking innocent, round eyes, softer expression; is done intentionally and is nice to notice, if you will watch all of it, how things will change and why). In my opinion is kind of a classic of anime. Is one of my favorite with Attack on Titan and Tokyo Ghoul and probably because they are making you put some questions about the world (or i simply watch them when i was a teen and it stuck with me till adult life :)))

If there’s a YT edit then it will have the circle over the entire screen for sections instead of a blur. There loads of ways I can improve it - smaller circle. Different shape. Have less sections that way and more sections in the more traditional way. I’ve been talking to some people on discord who have had issues with Patreon, and this seems way better than the whole blur and sync your own copy thing. I’m sure I can keep it a decent experience for everyone - but I need people’s feedback so genuinely thanks.

2025-02-03 01:09:55 +0000 UTCI'm not a big fan of the circular cam because it covers a sizable portion of the screen. Also, people with 4k monitors have a worse experience because low-quality TV shows (like this one) look horrible at fullscreen.

2025-02-02 13:52:50 +0000 UTCIn German we have a name for when you are affected by all the bad things happenig around you, even though it does not affect you personally. It is called "Weltschmerz" which means "world pain". And there are studies that this Weltschmerz is affecting more and more people due to the good and thorough news covering we got today. Even though someone is living a happy life, we always see war, murder, injustice on the news. Light (in Death note) sees the Weltschmerz and thinks he can erase it with his death note. In my opinion most people would do the same as Light.
