Random first episodes whilst I try some tech stuff. I'll do them in the order that is most popular.
Added 2025-02-01 20:30:43 +0000 UTCFeel free to leave something else in comments but make sure they are a short episode of about 20/25 mins in length.

2025-02-06 18:09:14 +0000 UTCMaybe a silly question, but Chainsaw Man would be fun, it kind of has insane themes that can be deeply interpreted kinda? Idk it's not for everyone but I think if he liked Arcane he might really enjoy it

2025-02-04 19:58:44 +0000 UTCWonder egg priority would be a brilliant one to put on your radar, it focuses on the delicate topic of teenage suicide and closely follows the friends those suicides leave behind and how they cope with their grief

2025-02-03 05:05:06 +0000 UTCYour lie in April would be interesting for you to watch as well. It is my favorite anime drama for sure.

2025-02-02 17:53:58 +0000 UTCProbably wont be recommended this by anyone else, nor do I ever see many people talking about it - "Link Click" (Don't think it is on Netflix/Amazon, is on Crunchyroll though) Honestly, a nice, possibly emotional, episodic (for the first half before the overarching plot begins) anime about time travel. Would love to see a first time reaction to it.

2025-02-02 13:54:51 +0000 UTCI would love to see a reaction to March Comes in Like a Lion someday! It has my favorite portrayal of depression from anything I've seen.

2025-02-02 07:06:24 +0000 UTCIt's not on here, but I really recommend Vinland Saga! The storyline and characters are truly amazing!

2025-02-02 06:23:44 +0000 UTCI agree with others about Avatar the Last Airbender, and Jujutsu Kaisen. From this list though, I chose Frieren; both the story and animation are stunning.

2025-02-02 05:55:10 +0000 UTCI think Frieren would be a really interesting watch for you.

2025-02-02 05:25:09 +0000 UTClooks like Hazbin Hotel not close to winning but i would love to see your perspective on the more serious topics that happen in that show when you get to it eventually. but more than happy seeing Edge Runners being the top voted, It was one of the first anime I watched and loved it.

2025-02-02 00:47:06 +0000 UTCFullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a classic! Great story and deeply philosophical as well.

2025-02-02 00:06:12 +0000 UTCI think I voted for Demon Slayer just because it is definitely the most visually stunning out of all of these options.

2025-02-02 00:01:14 +0000 UTCI voted for Demon Slayer because it seems to be a massive Underdog on this poll. That show isn't very deep, it's very straight forward with its storytelling. But enjoyable regardless. Death Note is great, very fun to react to. And probably will offer you a little more opportunity to give your perspective as a therapist. Cyberpunk Edgerunners is also great, that should be fun. I see multiple people commenting that Avatar The Last Airbender is a show that they would like to see, I agree with them. That is a great show. Avatar is geared towards younger audiences, but it is still very good. And although it's geared towards younger audiences, it still touches on serious subject matter and there would probably be many opportunities for you to offer true Insight with your personal experience as a therapist.

2025-02-01 23:18:21 +0000 UTCLegend of Vox Machina! about a 25-minute first episode, currently 3 seasons long with a 4th on the way. came out around the same time as Arcane and is very good. Deals with a lot of trauma. Another fun detail about it is it is based on a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that was played live by professional voice actors. a crowd-fund raised $11.2 million dollars to animate the first main arc of the story which was all improvised and dice rolls, and yet it created a very moving, funny and thrilling adventure.

2025-02-01 23:12:37 +0000 UTCCromartie High School is my suggestion if you want comedy and hilarity!

2025-02-01 22:45:24 +0000 UTCI highly suggest Avatar Ths Last Airbender, like some others have said, but also a perfect anime to react to after Arcane is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood! (The 2009 anime) it's my favourite anime of all time, I also suggest Neon Genesis Evangelion, as well as the film Akira! For either more therapist based reactions like your Arcane reactions where it’s just your first thoughts and reaction, then separate analyses, or something similar, or more casual reactions, either way I'm super curious to see your thoughts as well as hope that you would enjoy watching these! -Euan :)

2025-02-01 22:27:56 +0000 UTCHazbin Hotel would be very interesting from your perspective (a LOT to diagnose there). But as Cyberpunk is already very high, I'll push for it. But as Last Thing says, it's dark for Youtube.

2025-02-01 21:36:42 +0000 UTCFrieren is a story about age. Death note is dripping with teen angst (don't watch the second season). Cyberpunk is good but may be a little adult for YouTube. I like spy x family, it's about parenthood it's my number one recommend for you to watch on your own but I feel for patreon we're more looking for a therapists take on things. Some things I would add to the list play the game slay the princess (it's very simple gameplay wise and it's about choices) and watch the last Airbender.
Last Thing
2025-02-01 21:31:34 +0000 UTCI agree with the suggestion of Avatar the Last Airbender. It’s top tier. My teens and I really loved Delicious in Dungeon too. I’ve never seen anything quite like that one before! We ended up doing a rewatch so we could include the whole family. I believe it was successful enough they’re making a second season.

2025-02-01 21:12:17 +0000 UTCOh I didn't know you like anime too :) is there a specific type of anime or show you want to be introduced to? I find Good Doctor could be intresting.

2025-02-01 21:10:23 +0000 UTCWhy did no one mentioned the goat of animated series? Avatar-the last airbender? For sure made for younger viewers and not arcane level animation but i think its a perfect mix of exciting story, humour, character development but also some serious topics.

2025-02-01 20:37:56 +0000 UTCCool. make sure you select Death Note in the poll if you haven't already.
Lenny
2025-02-01 20:37:20 +0000 UTCJujutsu Kaisen is very good but I think it would be by far the most interesting if you would react to Death Note.
