Live stream whole video unedited.
Added 2024-12-30 22:35:02 +0000 UTCHaven't had a chance to time stamp this but here is the entire unedited livestream. We discussed my channel name, what I am up to between episodes 3 and 4. We had a look at Silco drowning scene and its relation to Powder's falling scene, and then we took a look at whether we think Powder said 'mom' or not. And a thanks to everyone who came for being so supportive. I have very little experience with livestream and there is a lot going on at the same time to try and manage so thanks for making it such a pleasant experience.

It’s connected straight into my MacBook via USBC. It also exhibits the same behaviour on both my Dell windows laptops that were given to me by work that don’t run any Logitech software on there. It probably happens about 10% of the time (used daily) and I usually just turn it off and on for a second in zoom / teams and it goes back to normal. Luckily the Camlink seemed to work fine in this instance.

2024-12-31 03:17:47 +0000 UTCWhen you eventually fill out the Silco formulation i think his, deliberatness in both words and actions is so important, the scene in episode 2 is such a great example. His goal is to manipulate Deckard to willingly take shimmer but he wants to retain a mutual relationship with him so hostile coersion isn't an option. So he talks about the deep water monsters and the ignorance of piltover then the motivating desire for power about people born into different positions (this will appeal to Deckard) and then illustrate a path Deckard can take (power comes to those willing to do anything), he strikes comraderie with Deckard by claiming that we're all monsters. Now to talk about his actions He disarms Deckard but in a non hostile way so Deckard can't freak out and hurt him and then he throws the knife away showing this isn't about threatening Deckard, then he presents the shimmer and waits, waits for Deckard to choose, and when he does gives an encouraging nod. The man understands what people want and how to give it to them, so in episode 3 when he says to Deckard its time to raise to the surface (and take the second dose to fight Vi), he successfully remaps that entire conversation Vi is now the ignorant, Vi is the underservably fast or strong and Deckard should do anything (drink shimmer again) to defeat her. Ultimately he's manipulated a young man in to killing a Copper in Grayson, a community man in Benzo, and attempting to kill a child in Vi. He did it by sympathising with Deckard and offering him a chance at power and self esteem. We also know from Silco's history with Vander and Piltover that he empathises too with the weak. I think this is a great template for the other relationships Silco has in the show. Sorry if this was a bit rambly (and i can't easily go back and edit things on mobile) but i think Silco is a character worth talking about at some legnth.

2024-12-31 03:13:20 +0000 UTCI think Powder's scene where she falls is more meant to mirror Jayce. In that night, both of them had a breakthrough on that one project they had been working on for what seems like their entire lives. There was a big blue explosion, then both had a moment floating in the air, in the bliss of having finally done it. Of course the aftermath then becomes quite different for both characters. I think there are more parallels between Powder and Silco in that aftermath than during the explosion itself.

2024-12-31 03:12:29 +0000 UTCDid you try googling your camera issue out? I saw few suggestions about both LogiTune software and slow usb connection. Though, I need to know your configuration better to apply any of these theories. My initial thought was that, if it happens all the time, it might be sync-related (e.g. software expects 25FPS and camera gives 24.97)
