This is the YouTube edit so people can see what I'm trying!
Added 2024-12-12 18:55:10 +0000 UTCThis has currently made it through the initial YT contentID check and hasn't been blocked. Sometimes it can take a few days. But I think I'm going to go live with this one to start getting the videos out. I want to use the Patreon as a way to bounce ideas off people who are genuinely interested, discuss further ideas etc. Its the first time ive edited like this so im interested if it looks comparable to other reactors as Ive not looked at them due to potential spoilers.

yeah that’s a fair point that i hadn’t considered as deeply as i could’ve; i can look into that and see if there are correlations between reactions that i think are high quality, and reactions that are monetized for the creator on YT; maybe the non-monetized videos are meant to drive Patreon subscription — i tend to subscribe to Patreon for full reactions so that might be where my mind is

2024-12-13 08:38:16 +0000 UTCInteresting that the only the first one on the initial list of 3 is a monetised video for the creator, the second two arent. I imagine the second 2 got picked up by contentID.

2024-12-12 19:44:55 +0000 UTCI think it’s great; i’m partial to people often pausing and discussing their perception, and speculating, but that’s just my preference; regarding frequency of talking, here’s a few good example youtube edits with a fair amount of talking; - https://youtu.be/boPbqBO9Lw4 - https://youtu.be/ieG16fYHinA - https://youtu.be/V_JHYTZMePY here’s an example of another therapist’s reaction; though i wish more of her emotional take and speculation were included — i like that your reaction feels less sanitized, less clinical, and more emotive — though i deeply enjoyed both reactions - https://youtu.be/WdqYAe-oKfs i hold this helps? i can dig up a lot more examples of good and less good edits if you want

2024-12-12 19:43:52 +0000 UTCI already have a plan to do a more thorough trauma analysis as a video after Act 1 so I can tie it altogether it my head mostly, but as I get more info my impression of what’s happening changes. I put this up here just so people could say whether the edit was okay in comparison with other reactors. But to be honest I’ll just put this up and see how it goes.

2024-12-12 19:20:22 +0000 UTCi’ve just watched the full version & i’m already looking out for this on youtube; plan on watching all three videos; thank you! your insights are really awesome; i love that there’s so much trauma-informed insight in this; this story takes a few episodes to pick up, but i promise you’re in for a wild ride
