Super Mario 3D Land HD (4K Texture Pack) 1.1 Update is out!
Added 2021-06-16 10:00:04 +0000 UTCUpdate 2024-04-04: A small patch, 1.1.0a, has been released. From this version onward, all 3DS texture packs will no longer include emulators. You will need to provide your own emulator from this point onward (it's still easy, don't worry)
Good morning!
I'm proud to present the latest major update to Super Mario 3D Land HD! This update brings hundreds of new textures, bug fixes, streamlined installation process, GameCube controller support and much more. Here's what's changed;
New environment textures!
From cobblestone walls to sandy dunes, hundreds of environment textures have been updated to 4K. Everything's so much crisper!
Much improved installation process!
The previous installation method was outdated and terribly clunky & confusing. The new method is the same as my most recent other texture packs and is practically one-click and you're good to go! Just load the game rom and enjoy.
Fixes numerous bugs!
This includes the infamous "black platforms" bug, Mario's miscolored face and more! This version should be much more polished then the last version.
Added default controller presets!
This includes default layouts for GameCube and Xbox controllers. It's really convenient!

Please make sure the other patrons know this mod doesnt give a "Textures by henriko" splash or title screen like all the other mods and also in the youtube video advertising it. spent almost the whole hour troubleshooting nothing because i did not understand that i did it right the first time. Thank you for your hard work and im really excited to give this one a go after im done with OoT, MM, & TP. I endlessly appreciate you doing something for OoT bc the SoH android port is really shitty and has next to no troubleshooting info.

Sadly Mario 3D Land only runs on the Citra 3DS emulator, so this particular texture pack won't be able to be ported natively to M1 Macs until Citra gets updated to support it- which hopefully is sooner than later. All my GameCube/Wii texture packs will include M1 Mac support in all future updates!
