Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D HD 1.2.0 Patreon Release Download
Added 2020-10-15 10:34:19 +0000 UTCHi all Patrons! Today marks the Patreon release of the brand new 1.2.0 major update for Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D HD!
Time time around I've focused on covering areas that previously had not been worked on at all. This includes;
- Ice Cavern
- The Bottom of the Well
- Parts of some dungeons
- Secrets areas in holes, etc.
Another great addition in this update is the ability to control the bottom touch screen using a gamepad or a controller!
This is huge, since before it was practically impossible to play the game without using a mouse or a complicated setup requiring third party software or even a phone or tablet in some cases. This gets rid of the necessesity of all that, and you can now simply access all the elements on the bottom screen using your sturdy controller of choice.
Here are the default key bindings for using the bottom screen with your controller;
- D-Pad Up: Free Cam (First Person View)
- D-Pad Left: Ocarina
- D-Pad Right: Item Slot 1
- D-Pad Down: Item Slot 2
- Select: Items Menu
- Left Joystick Button: Gear
- Right Joystick Button: Map
This should make the game much more playable and enjoyable, especially if you're playing on a TV where you definitely don't want to be switching around between different controllers mid-action.
HD Maps have also been implemented!
This covers most of the maps in the game, and also the minimaps present in the bottom left corner.
Furthermore, the installation process has been much simplified!
It is now very close to one-click-and-play, with minimal effort required by the user to get up and running. Assuming you have the game ROM ready at hand, it should take you less than a minute to boot the game and start playing. This is especially handy for first time users, since you no longer need to go through a complicated process to just play the game!
This update also includes minor improvements to the visuals as well as many bug fixes.

The Update is available to all you Patrons here, with a public release in two weeks from when this post was published!
There is also a 4K version available, if your computer can handle it. It's a large file, over 7GB so beware of that before you download it!

(Only available for the Citra 3DS emulator, the texture pack does not work on real 3DS consoles).

2020-11-20 00:25:45 +0000 UTCThis seems to be an issue with Citra, where the controller input bindings seem to not work between different controllers even if they're the same model! The fix is simple; Go into the Citra Configuration > Controls > Motion / Touch... and then "Configure". Then set all the button bindings again using your controller. Then it should work!

2020-10-27 18:15:46 +0000 UTCOkay, I figured it! So you go to Emulation/Configure/Controls and then 'Motion/Touch...' (at the bottom left). On the 'Touch' section, click Configure. For me, it was all mapped for the 'Xbox Controller' but just not working. Just double click each one and remap to the same buttons; fixed it for me!

I'm using an Xbox One wireless controller by wired connection. I am using "Xbox Controller" profile ("Xbox Wireless" doesn't work at all). On the Emulation/Configure/Controls menu, I can't see a "screen bindings" option. I'm running a European version. On a much bigger note, it looks AMAZING!!

2020-10-22 11:21:04 +0000 UTCIf you're using an Xbox controller it should work straight out of the box! If you're using a different gamepad, simply go go the Input settings and then "screen bindings" :)

2020-10-20 15:38:36 +0000 UTCThis is something I missed to mention in the installation guide! If you have the European version of the game, you must rename the texture folder "0004000000033500" to "0004000000033600" inside the "Load" > "Textures" directory and it will work!

Otherwise in the Mojaras Mascara Mod folder, if the Project Restauracion mod is included. I'm asking you this because I want to manually configure the remote that you include for Zelda OOT. Please.

When I extract the folder and open the "Zelda OOT3D 4K.exe" and open the game, there seems to be no custom textures present in the game. Any idea why ? Your texture works looks really nice! Hoping I can get it to work and enjoy the modded game :D

However, I recommend that you simply copy / paste your "User" folder from the previous version (your default Citra Directory, located in Documents) to the new version's folder and start the game using the new version of the included Citra emulator. That way you get the preset settings without losing your save data!
