Zelda: Twilight Princess 4K - 1.0.2 Patreon Release Download (2020-07-01)

Here is yet another update for my 4K texture pack for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the GameCube and Wii. This update includes new textures, and also updates some previous ones from the previous releases. Shaders have been updated to improve the visuals as well as over 150 new HD textures! This includes environment textures like leaves, hedges, trees, bark, pillars, rocks, tiles, ladders, ropes and many more. Furthermore, the texture pack is now encoded in the .DDS BC7 image format which dramatically reduces file size and increase performance without any noticable quality reduction! If you had lag or stuttering issues with previous releases of TP4K, this version should help eliminate those issues.
Installation: Simply extract the .ZIP file somewhere on your computer and start the game using the provided custom version of the Dolphin Emulator (named as "Zelda TP4K Dolphin Emulator.exe"). All settings should be preset to my optimal settings, but you are of course free to tweak them so the game looks however you prefer! You MUST provide your own ROM file of Twilight Princess, it is not distributed here.

The 4K version of the texture pack is available to all you Patrons starting today, with a 1080p version available to everyone for free on my website in two weeks from when this post was published! Like always, beware before downloading it since it's a large file, over 3GB!
Enjoy! (Only available through the use of an emulator, the texture pack does not work on real GameCube or Wii consoles).

Where did you upload the .png version? My graphics card is having issues with vulkan and I'd like to use them for OpenGL gameplay.

2020-07-13 10:51:35 +0000 UTCSo I've converted the 1.0.2 version to png files with "Custom Texture Tool PS" from Dolphin forum (use Texconv) and I have 5 files that fail all the time (even with compressonator-cli) tex1_128x128_d04619ebd50c0379_14.dds tex1_256x128_12adb433552866ef_14.dds tex1_256x256_f102716bc72c474c_14.dds tex1_256x256_ff31dd38610c8e69_14.dds tex1_512x512_8ac3b6c5518e3196_14.dds Do you have any problem with those files ? Or my download is corrupted ? (But only those files?, strange) Also, I wonder if this pack works well with standard dolphin instead of ishiruuka, because we only have official on android. Thinking about material maps and everything. Thanks

2020-07-13 10:46:57 +0000 UTCWould be neat if we could have access to a 1080p version (1.0.2) in .png format. Now, Dolphin works pretty well on Android phones, and it only support png. And 1080p should be well enough, especially bc we have less ram than a PC. Also we can "only" play at 2x-3x internal resolution with a high end android phone for now. Thanks fr all
