Reverse comfort:
You're struggling with your mental health which has made you distant, irritable etc., but you feel like you need to be strong for the listener as unfortunately males feel they need to do.
Listener misinterprets that you're bored or cheating and packs their bags to leave and you get upset and confess. Listener offers comfort and reassurance.
