I don’t know anything about music but it works the same way for me. When I was a kid and did not know English yet, I would pretend sing English songs that I really liked (it probably sounded somewhat like people that speak in tongues at church 😂, I hope I am not offending anybody). Then later in life I learned English and realized that some of these songs shouldn’t be sang in public…🤭🤣 or at least not around just anybody. As far as how you listen to music, my ex-husband is a “weirdo” too. He can do that with saxophones (what he used to play) and planes (he was an aircraft mechanic). Hugs for you and scratches for the kitty cats ❤️🇧🇪❤️

Thank you for answering my question, and I love that you have different jobs in different audios - I've only ever noticed if it's specifically been stated, either in the audio or the tags, or some reference to a job - eg you mention working on someone's car. You always joke about us having to listen to the AMA when it's a certain length, I can assure you that we do not mind one bit! I'd happily listen for longer 😊 Thanks again, as always. 💛

And I also enjoyed your long ramble about what music means to you and how you approach it. I’m incredibly fascinated that you are even ABLE to hear all these nuances and details!! Even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t be able to pick songs apart like that. Even still, I can agree with you in that lyrics, to me, can sometimes almost get in the way of the song or that they’re less important than the music & the emotions. But like you said, sometimes – when the lyrics hit just right – they can be the very thing that draws me in. I do think that I’ve noticed the fact that you have different fictional jobs in different audios. But I’ve never actually thought about it or questioned it. 😂 It really, really shows how immersed you are in each and every story – because that’s what allows us, as listeners, to be immersed in them as well. The bonus rain ASMR was a really nice touch too. 😂😍😌

Travelling within Canada is a big feat because it’s so big! There’s certainly a bit of culture shock between provinces. Whenever I head east I even find the way people drive/dress/talk is different. The amount of detail being heard in music makes me want to put it to the test, pull out some vintage/shellack vinyls or make sound recordings with mystery items. A good, quality pair of headsets makes all the difference in picking up those nuisances and the fancy pair I used to listen to this AMA instantly made the wind audible (where with crappier headsets it would be a mere suggestion). Loved all the questions and answers! Thank you for sharing another hour with us Hank and hope the storm left the trailer in place!

I would be interested to know what character trait impresses you in a girl no matter if it's in a relationship or friendship,...like where you think "dude....that girl is interesting/impressiv..."
