What's Hank Listening To? Captain Of Her Heart by Double

The simplicity of the piano is most interesting😂 This is my opinion but synthesizer pop fits best when riding the car! (at night, in the passenger seat, of course😄) I've only experienced it in games...!🤣 This song reminded me of the vibe of Wating For a Girl Like You, Broken Wings, etc. I only remember hearing a little bit about the limo, so it was interesting to know more about it😊 But most curious is, why it was a limo😂

Hitomi

For some reason this song is what I think of when I think of the term Muzak 😂 thank you for showing us these great songs!

Janet

I remember this one! Lingering in the back of my mind. A one hit wonder, they're called them. I liked the song, especially because of the singing voice, pleasant timbre. I had just bought my first house together with my boyfriend. While doing some work I turned on the radio and indeed this song came up often. Memories are strange sometimes😈😎

Mrs Darkness

There are some really interesting progressions (both notes and chords) in this one. Though obviously more electronic, it makes me think of Lovely Day (B Withers). Cool! 😊

Helena

I remember that birthday story and how the boss was too cheap for the return trip! Great '80s song! ...Soprano saxophones have such an interesting, unexpected sound. In this song, it's upbeat with melancholy tones but when used in the film score for Raise the Titanic, the haunting notes can bring me to tears. (Though it might have been an alto sax for that film...)

I kept thinking, "I wonder if Hank's talking about that 80s song" and when you said saxophone I was pretty sure you meant this one. Thanks Hank! This has just been added to my Yacht Rock playlist! 🛥🎸 (It's probably not YR but oh well! 😄) I'm loving WHLT? so please keep it up! ❤️

The piano part from 1:01 -1 :2[0. is from another song from the 80's. Toto released a song named "Africa, . That's what makes it catchy for me.......
