This announcement deals with mortality and has to do with a very good friend of mine. I really don't like bringing anybody down but I thought it was important to let you know why posts have been delayed and to thank you in advance for your understanding.
That being said I will do my absolute best to get everything out by the end of the month but I need to focus on what's going on right now.

Thank you for trusting us with this very personal & emotional information. As you & some here know, I have been wrestling with my own hurricane for, well, almost a year now. Please know that you have my deepest sympathy, scratch that, you have my deep & heartfelt empathy. It’s ugly and painful in the trenches of grief. It’s unpredictable and comes in waves, as you know very well. Please don’t ever apologize for being honest & open about the heavy stuff. As someone who has confronted her fair share of grief, dark times, and uncertainty… I have always appreciated how authentic & open you are about that stuff. Perhaps it’s just me, but it doesn’t bring me down. It lets me know that I’m not alone. It reminds me that although all of us hail from all over the world, from different walks of life… We are all united by both the darkest & lightest things that make up our lives. Grief. Love. Pain. Joy. Struggle & victory. Even the most positive & joyful amongst us has had to confront the heaviness of life. And in a very weird way, that’s part of why life is so beautiful & precious. That in our short time on this earth, in all the times & places we could exist… we all here get to do this life thing together. We’re on a journey, & sometimes our closest loved ones have to leave the journey ahead of us. And that really sucks. But, as you have talked about many times… what a blessing it is that we have our loved ones in our lives for as long as we do. The pain of grief is all of the love that we have for that person, but they’re no longer here for us to give that love to. So it gets stuck in our hearts and that’s why it feels so heavy & painful. Grief is unspent love. Please, PLEASE take the time that you need. To both be the rock for your family AND let yourself fall apart in private. (As I type that out, I’m acutely aware that I should really take my own advice 😅) For all our talk of your immortality, you are human. One of the best human beings that I have had the privilege to get to know. You deserve space & time to grieve & process in a way that is best for you. (You would say the same to me, & you know it 😉) Besides, Hitomi is right. You have SUCH a depth & breadth of content for us to indulge in whilst you tend to your family. I have been so wrapped up with my own hurricane that I haven’t even watched the last TWO!!! Hank’s Guitars episodes! 😱😱 (Those of you who know me know that is SOMETHING 😂🎸❎♾️✍️📝) My heart is with you and your family, Hank. Always. Please look after yourself. You’re important too. ♡

It's hard af physically, mentally, and emotionally to see a loved one decline. Spend as much time as you want/need with your friend. There are plenty of old audios for us to enjoy until you're back! And make sure to take care of yourself. Grief is a hell of a thing. Sending prayers for peace for everyone involved. Fck cancer.

You’re so lucky to have each other and to be doing this together – emotionally, but also in regards to all the practical stuff! I’m sure there’s way, way more to do than “just” moving your friend, but also a crap ton of administrative stuff. I’ve had to move my dad to a nursing home in November and had to do pretty much everything all by myself – so, I can only imagine all the things that need to get done in your case. Please take good care of yourself while being the rock for everybody else! And don’t stress about the audios. 🫂
