2024-02-10 13:53:15 +0000 UTCDon't feel bad about making long AMAs, Hank! It's an absolute treat to hear you speak about the things you're passionate about!! Not to mention, it's the perfect thing to have in the background as I clean, shave, or do any menial task, lol. You make the mundane things we have to do SO much better! <3

2024-01-30 19:02:57 +0000 UTCI listened to this AMA so late on Thursday night that I almost fell asleep towards the end. 🙈 Almost! 😅 But that doesn’t mean anything about the content! Fantastic AMA, as always. ❤️ And thank you for answering my question! I’ll pass that along to my … friend. 🤭 Gosh, the hardest thing is to recharge not only physically, but mentally, to flip that switch for a while! And to then also find the strength to get back to things over & over again. But I’m working on it & I’m sure it’ll get easier! And also some of your audios definitely help! What you said about music, or any form of art … that is truly the highest form of mastery, when you know your craft so well that you don’t have to think about technique anymore and can simply express. Of course, there’s always room for improvement, but getting that stage of self-expression is magical! ✨ I can relate to that a little with dancing. I’m far from being a pro, but I’ve done it for long enough that I can give the movements some “flair” depending on what I get from the music. I also LOVE how passionate you are about the sound quality & sound effects of your audios. It truly shows and sets you apart from so many others! I’m always torn between wanting to know how you make them and wanting to keep the mystery. 😉 And goodness, am I ever intrigued about that special audio series idea! 👀👀 Why you gotta tease us like that? 😅🙈

2024-01-26 02:09:19 +0000 UTCThank you all for another round of great QnAs, and color me intrigued for the audio innovations! I could easily see the studio floor disappearing under a myriad of gadgets for the foley, with blooper reels of the cats chasing each other around those items and the chaos of that ensues. Hank's Costco story reminds me of every scene with Ethel Merman in the original version of It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World! If that guy's mother was anything like Ethel's character, keeping things calm was the best way to go and may even been the bright spot of that guy's day. Will certainly remember this story the next time I find myself questioning my gut response. :D Thank you for answering my question and look forward to the birthday quarter AMA.

2024-01-26 00:06:37 +0000 UTCThis is my 1st time listening to one of your AMA's. I was so engaged listening to the way you speak and and learning about you in a more candid way. I didn't realize that a whole hour plus had passed by! Thanks to the listeners who thought to ask questions on these topics which hit home for me. And thank you, Hank, for offering your insight and advice on them. Especially regarding instincts. There have been a lot of times in which I have these strong instincts. But my problem is that I don't always trust them. And then I regret not doing so! So it proved to be a very educational as well as entertaining audio! Therfore, I don't consider it "just blathering" Much Love & Appreciation 🥰💗😘

2024-01-26 00:05:39 +0000 UTCMan, Costco parking lots bring out the worst in people. 🤣 I hate Costco. Great AMA, as usual!

2024-01-25 22:14:27 +0000 UTCThanks, Helena! When I posted that question I was literally ready to scrap the whole idea. I made a few more attempts after I posted & still just couldn’t get over it. And like I mentioned in the question, my brain just stopped all together! I tried to move on to a different section of the chapter just to see if writing period would help motivate me. But you’d have thought I’d never written a thing in my life cause it completely took any inspiration from my mind. Luckily though taking like a week off of writing helped a lot cause I decided to attempt again last week and once I started I couldn’t stop! Got that chapter plus another one done by Sunday! 😁

2024-01-25 14:56:48 +0000 UTCThis was good! I particularly liked the question about writers block. I write a lot for work but I also write lyrics to songs. And yes, I run into blocks. All. The. Time! I too find writing “nonsense” helps. Just ramble away! The other day I wrote the worst (professional) text ever, full of profanities, silliness and mumbo jumbo. Then I slept on it. The next day I rewrote it and came out ok. And on the plus side: the nonsense was really funny to look through when I had gotten a bit of distance to it and wasn’t frustrated and completely worn out anymore 😏 Thank you Hank for answering all the questions and thank you everyone for contributing. 😊

2024-01-25 05:52:46 +0000 UTCThank you for doing all of these, Hank!! ❤️ AMA’s have always been one of my favorite “non-erotic”/misc. audios of your’s because we get to know you a little more through each answer! And I greatly appreciate you taking the time to answer mine! I’m definitely going to be trying your method out the next time I have a case of writers block and need that little (or LARGE 😂) nudge to get over that hump! Because I do feel like that would probably be a huge help for me! Thankfully sometime last week I was able to finally get through mine and tbh, I couldn’t even tell you what did it! 🤦🏻♀️😅 it just kinda happened! But I won’t complain because my goal was to finish my writing on 2 chapters by my birthday (which if we’re being technical is today/Thursday! 🎉) and I was able to finish it on Sunday! 😮💨🥳 so I am pretty damn proud of myself for it! 😂 Thank you again for being so helpful! 🫶🏻

2024-01-25 05:35:52 +0000 UTCI know what you meant but so the next time I ask a question that is similar to someone's question, there is a chance that what I asked might be selected even if it's a cheated?🤨 Added: I thought about this and realized that I was looking forward too much to what Hank was going to think and say. I noticed that because of this I was looking forward to the AMA too much and thinking hard about what fun questions I could ask without repeating the first question I had asked when I first got here😅 In addition to that, I was extremely disappointed this time because I had not asked a question in a long time so I was very excited to ask and I think I was extremely disappointed that someone who asked the same question after me and it's chosen. I also realize that the AMA event is of great value to me because my passion is not only for Hank's audio but also for the AMA😂 I don't want to "make you do it because I didn't like what I experienced," and Hank is King here, so it's all up to Hank to decide what to do. But if the same subject is asked later, how about excluding it or prompting a different question? I thought it would be more enjoyable to hear different questions and answers...

2024-01-25 05:26:33 +0000 UTCWow, I didn't expect someone who asked a similar question to mine later on would get picked up and mine wouldn't...😇 Maybe I need to rethink about fairness from a different perspective. Anyway, apparently I might be unlucky with AMA😑
