Initially, I thought apple picking because then you can have some fresh pressed hot apple cider and some apple cider donuts (so good!!). And the "afterwards" would be when I make some delicious apple crisp with the oats and brown sugar on top. Yum! (Damnit, now I want some! 😂) Ice cream or whipped cream on top is optional. But pumpkin picking is fun! I always try to find the best round pumpkin for the autumn and Halloween spirit. 🎃 And I have to get a couple little ones because, well c'mon. 😄 Can't say I'm the best at carving but I try. And there's always roasted pumpkin seeds. So many reasons why this is my favorite time of year. The banter was sweet and I loved the surprise. I'm a surprise girl, so I loved it. Bring on the fall: jeans, flannel, boots, hot chocolate/tea, sweaters. ♥️

So… my friends never try to surprise me because I’m a royal pain in the “you know what” when I don’t know what’s going on. Truly, deep down I think that surprises are fun, but my mind flips out at them. 😂 This was very sweet!! Growing up in Southern California, we always went to a farm to pick out our pumpkins and my Mom made a big deal out of carving them together. Honestly, that’s how I discovered that I was really into art. I would design detailed carvings on paper, then transfer the design onto the pumpkin before carving it. Getting pumpkins from the store isn’t the same. This friend surprise was special & sweet. As per usual, I ADORE your best friend SFW dynamic. They exude sincerity and make me smile. Loved this. As ever & always, thank you Hank! 💕
