Note To Self... Don't Go To The Cat Shelter Unsupervised
Added 2023-08-05 02:49:02 +0000 UTCSo...I decided to poke my head into the local PetSmart where a local rescue has cats for adoption. I saw these two little guys who'd been abandoned there. I wasn't even thinking about getting a cat but I saw these guys. They weren't bonded but had obviously bonded there because they were looking after each other. Then I thought... well I was thinking about getting a cat soon. But how could I split these guys up? They were obviously buddies... so now I have two cats. I'm glad I took them both because instead of one of them being freaked out to be in a new home, they've already kind of taken over my place. As you can see they're pretty stressed out (not).
So now....I need all of your help to name these boys. The only names I have right now are Cheech and Chong.....
But I'm open to suggestions so if you have any I'd love to hear them.
In the meantime here's a few pictures of my new buddies!!

He was only 3 months old and had only been with me a week. I've been wandering the streets for two days and nights where he might be. The first night there was a bad storm. I got a call the second night that he had been spotted on the train tracks. I ran straight there and actually saw him after a short time, but he was far away and immediately ran away again because I wasn't alone. He is very shy and afraid of other people. but there were cats all around him. I managed to see him a few more times too, but with the other people around me, no chance. One cat always went ahead and another as backup. Two others stood with him. A cat squad. they must have protected him during the storm. When it started storming again the second night I was on my way home and was very unhappy, but at least I saw him and knew he was fine so far. I was on the phone with someone and was walking along the platform towards home and suddenly something nudged me from behind. When I turned around, my puppy was standing there. he found me I picked him up and carried him all the way home. I've never been happier carrying 40 pounds across the town. Since the cats had protected him so well, i want him to have a cat.

Their names seemed unusual to me (I thought you chose the Chinese name and why because of Chong๐), so I had to look them up to find out what they meant, but I think they fit their backgrounds very well๐ But...how about Leo and Marty or Gene and Paul?๐ And I was hoping that one day Hank would make an audio of Vet Hank (if you haven't done it already). Maybe something similar to what you associate them with? We named our cat Alia after the Dune character since they were an outcast, then we realized he was a male, so Ollie is now our favorite little man. He's a goblin and we love him.
