2023-03-03 19:00:06 +0000 UTCAnother great round of questions and insights! Always look forward to more stories being shared. Perhaps I'm not cut out for correspondence school, being too much of a visual learner. Imagination is great and all but is there a visual demonstration option that I - I mean we - could access...for science?

2023-03-03 14:26:08 +0000 UTCGreat AMA! Your story about Chris made me think of my sensei at the karate club I was a member of when I was 18. Out of the blue they came by my house one night and wanted to have coffee and chat. I could not believe that this cool, wise, funny, much older person wanted to hang out with ME?! I think having friends that are older than you is important and can make a huge difference in your development, if it’s done right. They obviously see, value and help us detect interesting traits of ours that we don’t yet realize we have.

2023-03-03 09:00:30 +0000 UTCI will never forget the time I was waiting in the rain at a bus stop and had forgotten my umbrella. I was frozen and soaked. This elderly lady came and stood uncomfortably close to me. But she just wanted to share her umbrella with me. 🥺 We chatted for a bit and she told me her husband had recently passed away, and she was having trouble navigating a world without him but that she was grateful she got to know real love. And when the bus came, she didn't even get on. I said "after you", and she was like "oh no, I'm not getting on the bus. You just looked like you could use an umbrella, and I can always use some company. Thanks for chatting with me." 😭 This happened like, a decade ago, and I'll never forget her. You're right, those encounters can totally restore your faith in humanity.
