Changes to my Patreon.

So it has come to my attention that all of my Patreon content has now been uploaded to the shitty porn aggregate websites that steal art and put their own watermarks on it, was gonna happen eventually. Now that's damaging enough, but I've also already seen people posting the full versions of my stuff on Twitter before I have, even claiming it as their own work, which is very damaging to the growth of my Twitter presence, because my own content is old by the time I post it...
With these things in mind and having taken a look at some other content creators Patreons, I would like to change the way I handle releasing my content. Rather than trying to keep stuff exclusive to my Patron for a few weeks, I would like to upload pretty much full versions of my stuff to my Twitter within a day or two of releasing it here. I would still release the public versions in a lower quality and with a watermark. Several other artists do this and still maintain good Patreon sub numbers.
The truth is, it's impossible to keep stuff exclusive here and it's impossible to stop the shitty people from redistributing my content. If I just release the full versions of my stuff for free, they will just steal those versions that actually have watermarks and probably won't bother to pay the $3 just to steal the slightly higher quality version without watermarks. That way, I at least get some people checking out my page and twitter after seeing my stuff on those sites.
I know this reduces the incentive for some of you to stick around, but I think if I carry on as things are right now it will just make me give up. Perhaps you guys have ideas for some other stuff I could do on my Patron to make it more worthwhile?
Either way, I'll be posting all my stuff on twitter shortly so that the cunts who are trying to claim it as their own don't steal the social media presence from me entirely. It's a shame that it has to be like this, but there we go.

2020-06-07 10:25:22 +0000 UTCHonestly dude, go with what you initially thought up, release the lower quality animations within a few days after you put them on Patreon. $3 for HQ smut in HD is reason enough to stay subbed. You could also consider putting a small model of your name in the background of the public release animation. It's a little more "intrusive" and it annoys some people no matter how discreet it is, but its the most direct way to combat piece thieves. However, personally I feel that should be a Plan B if earlier public releases don't boost attention. You got talent, chief, so stick with it. Besides, you're one of the few people to give Clip some love.
