Gonna share a thought i put on Morgan and Mosco's reaction: Enid's romantic partners have felt generic up to this point. Like they could have been anyone really. And I'm wondering if that was by design? Like Enid is literally just going through the motions. Like Enid is just checking off a box on her to do list. Unless they develop Bruno into an actual character and not just "Enid's boyfriend". Is part of her story, her growth, realizing she's enough and that she doesn't need someone to complete her? Or that it's a matter of finding someone to be with who actually has substance. A "ride or die" as it were. Thank you for pointing out the inconsistencies with Wednesday's victories. I get a kick out of this show, but sometimes... Where'd the crossbow come from? Where was it tethered? Honestly, the whole contest concept felt a little contrived. Like it was an idea they had, wanted to do, and couldn't find a place in the plot for it. Enid should have 100% handled the breakup better, but at least I think we can chalk it up to inexperience and immaturity rather than moral failing. We're all kind of a mess at that age. Ajax deserved better, and provided he doesn't take it too hard and go full villain, hopefully he and Enid can at least be friends. That said, Ajax pouncing at the opportunity to tell Enid he liked the old her felt a little creepy. He probably meant it as a way of saying he liked her even when she didn't like herself, but it came out... off. There's people out there who have little to nothing to offer others. So they find someone inexperienced and naive who doesn't know much of the world, and then try to make themselves that person's world. It adds a layer to Ajax's personality that he's a Gorgon; the ability to freeze people as they are. But Enid isn't a statue (like the one of a werewolf Ajax was clinging to in episode 2), and she grew away from his vision of her

"I can't imagine my life without her in it." And apparently Wednesday feels the same - for all her airs of not caring about others, look how much effort she's putting into protecting Enid.

Whoever does the on-set performance for Slurp is nailing the physicality. Ah, the double edged curse of being media and genre savvy. You can see a twist a mile away. The writers have to work over time with their red hairings... If Agnes so much as raises her voice at Wednesday, Enid would disembowel her. Yours and Moco's reaction style - pausing and going off - lends itself to longer reactions than just watching and talking, or doing a monologue after the reaction. I find your style more engaging and entertaining, but I understand it's more work for you (and your editor) on long episodes. I believe that Wednesday feels so strongly, so deeply, but she has to keep it in check so she doesn't get overwhelmed. But there are moments when the mask slips and we see the depths of her heart. Finding Enid's "dead" body on Prank Day, seeing her mother in danger...

I'm in a hard agreement about the whole it's romantic if it's between a boy and girl, but if anything meaningful is said between 2girls it's friendship based (unless it's specifically a gay show). There are 6 boys in the series who are reoccurring (counting xavier) that aren't related to Wednesday who are all interested in 1 of the girls but God forbid the two girls who are the main characters who actually have character and chemistry be sapphic
