2025-07-22 20:08:24 +0000 UTCLOL. I think some of it is probably just Elijah not being sure RWBY “does gay” at that point (as she said to Mosco in the Trailer reaction). Now that Elijah knows this show has queer characters, everyone is getting hit with the gaydar (trying to sniff out gay with Raven and the prior spring maiden only to find out she killed her is too hysterical).

Weiss: Launches herself into Yang's arms and tearfully proclaims "I missed you SO much!" Elijah: They seem to be very good friends. To be clear, I'm a huge Bumbleby shipper. But Volume 5 was sorta Freezerburn's big season and I was curious whether Elijah would clock it at all (and slightly worried she might shift allegiances). Kinda funny that the gaydar didn't ping at all.
