Chills every single time I hear her sing that note! 🥹😭🥹😭🥹😭

Firekitten

I need to let you know that what made me buy access to this reaction was the fact that you drank from a RWBY cup lmao.

Cundou

How do I wach the video on here

Dominc Collett

Oh, I can post here because I bought the post. Anyway, yeah! I started sobbing pretty much at the moment of that note too. It was a really powerful song in general too, one that's gone straight into my permanent rotation. I've had it as an ear-worm since I saw the movie Sunday and thank stars I like it enough that I don't mind.

The bit that really got to me personally was when Rumi confronts Celine, "why couldn't you love, all off me!" It just brought up stuff for me, it's the one of the parts I can't stop thinking about.

JustIJess

Doing a rewatch of this because I love this movie, and with the benefit of hindsight I'm guessing your reaction to the tree with the ribbons has something to do with The Elves of Amaranth. But I guess I'll have to wait and see what it is :)

Kitsune Kokoro

I was right there with you on feeling my soul responding to the last song. My god. . . The love and energy they poured into this film is astounding.

Going Nowhere

I just got finished watching Mosco's reaction to this and realized that I couldn't remember if I hit the little heart on yours or not. I'm glad I came back... I had forgotten. It has been rectified. Thank you for this reaction!

As someone who is Asian, lesbian, and nonbinary and has had their fair share of mental health struggles, “Golden,” “Free,” and “What It Sounds Like” hit so close to home for various reasons. I’ve struggled with dark thoughts before, and I do have scars from the battles I’ve had with mental illness, so Rumi’s patterns really resonated with me in that way. To me, I could see Rumi’s patterns as an allegory for self harm, but I do appreciate that they left it up for interpretation. Obviously, they wanted to keep it kid friendly, but in general, I like when mental health themes are more ambiguous and not the punchline.

But you showing thirst or attraction to female characters is completely fine? Its refreshing having female characters being open about who they are attracted to, for boy or girls, I love ya and the reaction, but that was the only take of yours i don't agree with, its not tired at all

If you liked: KPop Demon Hunters Might I suggest: Symphogear Singing JPop/JRock while fighting, insane world building, lesbians, and oh yeah REALLY fun action sequences. I know you can't watch anime on your channel but you would definitely enjoy it on your own time.

So while I first watched this, I was bemused and only a little amused. It wasn't a whole lot, but it kept me engaged. Then we got to the Idol Stage Face off thing, and it just ramped up for me. But what really surprised me was I was also crying at the end. The note Rumi sings at the end of 'Your Idol' is very haunting. Almost like someone who is mourning or super sad. That's what it reminded me of. Then during her song 'This is what it sounds like', I started to cry, because I also resonated with the words and the meaning behind them. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people found something relatable in the three main girls and their last song. Very solid. Very happy to have watched, and happier to see preferred reactors watching it too.

WolfieOo

I loved this movie.

44:33 If you still want to be in a relationship, DO NOT send that to her!

Gabriel Marquez

With what you were saying at the start of the movie about them being feminine protags, it reminded me of Nausicaa, who is my favourite fictional character, as she avoids using conflict and prefers to solve issues using compassion and understanding instead, such as in an early scene when she calms a giant insect known as an Ohmu because she knows it just mistook another human as attacking its forest. (it is a little more nuanced than that but I'm just giving the clip note version)

Made a patreon account just to watch you, Mosco, and Morgan react to this in full. (Found you three through The Owl House and am loving you and Mosco’s RWBY reactions!)

As a huge rwby fan I’ll just say that the message of this movie really resonated with me. And from an artistic perspective the use of color just really brings me joy. My favorite anime makes use of bright colors a bit like this as well if media has that it’s always gonna catch my attention

This might be nothing and I'm reading into some lyrics/songwriting where a thing isn't there. Or someone else might have made the observation and I missed it. Either way, HERE WE GO! The song "Golden" has a bit of songwriting tied to the story that if it was what I'm reading into it was a really nice detail. A LOT of the time when they sing the word "up" the note rises. In "Golden" they sing "we're going up, up, up" twice during each chorus. The first time they sing "we're going up, up, up, it's our moment," and the second time they sing "up, up, up with our voices." The first time when it's about their "moment," the "ups" are all even. Cause it's NOT their moment. "Golden" isn't the song that does the thing. They DO raise the note of the last "up" the second time when it's a more literal thing about what they're doing with their voices, though. Hell, the last chorus when Rumi hits the big "WE'RE GOING up, up, up" the "ups" are actually a note LOWER than the "we're going" part. Anywho, I've been listening to this and a couple other songs a lot at work so I've had a lot of listens to think about stuff like this.

The first thing you said about the girls being super feminine and still bad ass hit me so hard!! It is so unbelievably true in today society how you can’t be a girlie pop and still be a bad ass! I loved their take on that! And yes, the entire last half of the movies I SOBBED!! Her voice breaking through the darkness, almost representing the light! Amazing!

Valerie

I made the same recommendation on Wee Lass' reaction to this movie, it's so great.

Gone

You should react to the movie “Belle” , it’s one of my favorite movies of all times. I’ll add this is one to my list as well. It was so good 😭I’m going to be listening to this soundtrack on repeat.

For me the Celine situation is literally a "supportive" parent telling you "its a phase you will grow out off" Mira and Zoey have both messages of not fitting in Mira being a rebel that got discarded by her family for being herself and Zoey having an identity crisis between Burbank and Korea like shows in the Golden MV. As a Trans person, I cried through out most of the movie. It might be me just fishing for thing to relate but, "What it sounds like" talk about showing your true colors even tho they might not be perfect you should not hide them and let them shine through. Also that "Love all of me" from Rumi.... I felt that in my soul!

Yuji Mikadzuki

Can we start a petition to have a kpop version of the goofy movie
