Which makes sense, out of all the humans past or present that can do magic its only been dark magic. Main reason being Elfs' are automatically born with a connection to an Arcanum and Humans' aren't. So the fact that Callum can connect to any Arcanum means however small that he's part Elf.

2025-06-03 05:31:38 +0000 UTCOne thing is I dont know if the show wants you to think Viren has changed for the better just now. I didnt see him as possibly changing til this episode. I do think thats unusual and while i love Viren's arc a lot of this show in general is too late after the audience already feels a certain way. Any good qualities he had about caring for his family were certainly mired by the selfish way he did it and used it to manipulate. Just blindly caring isnt enough and his were empty gestures at best. He expected his kids to sacrifice ajd do hard things for him and family with the goal aways being his goals, never about them. It was more about obedience to the family unit and care in the same way a toxic parent cares for how successful in work their child is but never their personal life.
