That she could live with Amaya as though they were married, but they couldn't marry. There's some real world parallels there. This episode... From the moment Janai gave Amaya her sword, I was worried for the both of them. Tucking the flower behind her ear and speaking for the first time in the series... it's such a "death mark" on a character. And maybe if Corvus hadn't fallen, Amaya never would have sought cover. But she had someone to protect.

Gren keeping Amaya's language PG when interpreting but also being unafraid to dress down Rayla on her behalf, and Corvus using (what he thought to be) his last words to sign/tell Amaya how proud he was to have served under her. They're her boys your honour <3 Side note, gotta share some love for Kazi, our NB bookworm, saving people's lives one 'pointless' story at a time
