Back in S1E1, seeing the two kids die in Brimscythe's attack was what got him to inspire VM to kill the dragon. In S2E1 he doesn't want to fight the Conclave until he spots the kids they saved spying on them. Pretty consistently, Scanlan is pushed to become a hero by children who need him to step up

2025-03-15 15:01:39 +0000 UTC1. In the original campaign, the Herd ambushed Wilhand on the road, but Grog intervened because he saw no honor in killing a defenseless old gnome. For this Kevdak had the Herd beat Grog to near death and abandoned him. 2. There's a reason why Pike's hair changes to white, though idk if they'll touch on it in a later season and if it'll be the same story as the campaign, so I'll leave that one for now. lol Next episode is going to be a fun one! >)

2025-03-15 15:01:05 +0000 UTCGrog in the show doesn’t kill Wilhan because he wasn’t a fighter and instead of fighting Grog like all the others, he instead gave Grog a reason to keep him alive aka Pike. But before the game was streamed Grog and the Herd of storms met Wilhan by raiding and pillaging, Kevdak gave Grog the order to kill Wilhan and Grog refuse and was beaten to almost death for defending an innocent old man. Wilhan then took Grog to Pike to heal him.
