Good thing she didn't ride that desk all the way to the mesosphere.

Isn’t funny when you see a new toy that your love one/family person. Even though the toy not yours, you gonna want to play with it. The beginning of you messing with the computer had me rolling 😂

The interesting thing about how this portrays Della is that even if she isn't the traitor or thief it was hinted she possibly could have been... she's not exactly in the best light either. Whatever else she had going, she still opted to pursue an extremely risky adventure while she had three kids on the way, and over the objections of her twin. She even had to go so far as to pre-empt Scrooge's secret gift for her. He has his faults in there as well, but one can see how, in her absence, it might be easier to put the blame on him over fully processing what her wilful recklessness did.

Honestly Scrooge's love for his family overcoming his greediness is one of my favourite parts of his character. Like for all his faults, there's genuinely nothing he won't do for his family.
Also that part at the start of the episode where they reference the "racecars, lasers, aeroplanes" from the intro lmao, that was good. Also love the pilot Charlie shirt!

I always gotta point this out because I'd forgotten this on my first watch through. What Donald said to Scrooge in the first episode.
"Mrs. B. said that you would watch the boys! Can you do that without losing them?!"
On first watch, it sounds kinda throwaway. But knowing what you know now, that was savage.
We all feel for poor little Webigail in that moment. That was cold, McScrooge.

Scrooge's ,,This is a family matter, you are NOT FAMILY" line, just hurts (on multiple levels)... 😉

The final image of Scrooge sulking in his chair is actually quite the clever one. It mirrors the first panel Scrooge ever appeared in the 1947 comic Christmas on Bear Mountain, back when he was mostly just an Ebenezer Scrooge adaptation. The reference seems to suggest that Scrooge has gone "back where he started", a lonely, miserable old miser with no family or loved ones. Gotta love genius callbacks like that

Can't wait to see your reaction when you realize Daisy Duck is actually Webby's long-lost mother.

This is most likely my favourite episode ever, especially with David Tennant’s performance at the end and the fact that Dana Terrace animated parts of the episode. “Chef’s Kiss”. Brilliant but also tragic. 😭💜

"The Spear of Selene" was such a beautifully chosen name for the ship because by the time we first hear it, the show has given us dozens of mystical artifacts with similar names so naturally we assume that's what it is...yet it's *also* a great name for a spaceship that you can easily see Scrooge using. So it's a reveal that comes as a surprise yet actually makes sense

Typically a show pulling the kind of shameless answer stalling like Dewey does here would annoy the hell out of me, but I'm perfectly fine with this one because we actually do get the answer within the same episode, rather than being a cheap excuse to delay it even longer like you'd often see in something like The Flash.
