Agreed. While it is nice to have a lighter episode (compared to what happened before and what will happen next), nothing that significant happened, other than the reveal at the end (that they are - unfourtunatly for the twins - at the gates of Syngorn) and the B plot of Scanlan, Pike and Grog.

i'll admit, this is probably my least favorite ep of the series. It's fine, miles ahead of some shows, but still imo the weakest and most 'filler' of the series

To be fair to Percy, his knowledge of the Fey Realm may not be entirely correct, but the Awokened Grove thing was on Vax for being a grumpy bitch lmao

Some Fun Facts for this episode: The ‘Making my Way’ song is a continuation of a running gag in the games where the party constantly sings that phrase whenever someone says it, all to annoy Matt. Garmillie is voiced by Billy Boyd, AKA Pippin! This party split is known as Team Double Date and Team Biggie Smalls respectively The bird that got ate was modeled after Matt and Marisha’s pet, Dagon. Unfortunately, he passed away between the scene being made and the episode airing. However, they actually FORGOT about it until the watch party, and it caught them so off guard they laughed anyway.

1. To clarify, Keyleth didn't die in the last episode of season 1. She was at death's door after Delilah's attack, but Vax and Scanlan were able to heal her before she died. 2. The group didn't split in the original campaign, this was a decision in the show so they can tackle different moments more quickly. Originally the group were together in the Fey Realm as well as where Pike, Scanlan and Grog are in the animated show. 3. In the original campaign, Craven Edge actually killed Grog feeding off of him. After reviving him, the group managed to convince him to give up the sword and instead of destroying it, they used a spell to banish it to another dimension. 4. The drawings Garmelie made were much different in the campaign. It included: - Grog with bulging muscles, big buck teeth and a very VERY tiny penis - Pike with a massively large head - Vax and Keyleth rubbing feces on themselves with word bubbles, "I love this!"

Man, Travis has RANGE! He absolutely kills it not only in this episode, but in the whole show. From the high-pitched squeaks to those bassy roars and shouts (I can't wait for E9+10 - Travis' vocal talents really get to shine in those episodes)
