I love how Claudia and Terry not only drag Viren all the way to almost the top and even make him go take this ridiculous shortcut despite knowing and seeing how terrified he is. That has GOT to be the writers punishing their villain. xD

Season 4 is my second favorite season overall after season 2.

Her look in Season 6 (her new look after - that is her ,,default" look in Season 7) is - surprisingly - cute.

Terry is with Claudia because he finds her to be really attractive. I honestly can't blame him since she really is cute.

If you mean the ,,Reflection" comics. Some of them take place before the show, some of them take place before/after certain episodes/seasons. It isn't necessery to read these ones, it just gives context to sences... Mainly in Season 4 and 5.

I didn’t start watching until Elijah decided to. I was able to jump right into 4 after finishing 3. Through The Moon was apparently released after season 4 came out, but it does provide context for Rayla, so I read it before jumping in.
The rest of the comics take place before the events of the show, so while they may not be necessary to enjoy the rest of the series, they are helpful.

I dont think the comics are needed to understand it. I agree with you that shows shouldn't have required extended universe. If it fails without it then that's on tbe show. I don't think one needs to read it to get the point though.

Two out of three.
Hot - check (literally for Janai...)
Lady - check
Villain - nope

Noooooo the Catra Daki from the last couple reactions is gone now :'( I'm gonna miss that smug face in the background. I gotta know who's the artist and where you got it though?

For me personally, Season 1-3 was when the show was at its best. 4-7 has some good moments, but overall not as strong. This episode introduces Janai's brother Karim, the only character in this show that I truly hate with a passion. So much that later on, I would skip almost all the scenes he's in. Also, Terry is a good boy and must be protected.

The simplest explanation is that she simply...didn't think of that.

Something that always bugged me a little with this episode. So Claudia knew she needed her dad's staff to awaken the thingy, and she knew that after she awoke him, they'd only had 30 days to find Aaravos, and she knew that, until then, he was safe, albeit comatose. He's been like that for a year, what's an extra day or two, right? So really, why didn't she just get the staff before awaking her dad? The mountain is right there, she don't need Viren for that, and it would have saved time!

People, people, you're supposed to post fake spoilers on Mosco's channel! On Elijah's channel you're supposed to keep count of how many times she simps for the hot lady villain.
Number of times Elijah has simped for Claudia: 0

Elijah you are so lucky you can binge watch this show. We had to wait 3-ish years for Season 4 with NOTHING in-between. (Other than the book, but that could only satify our thirst for news for so long)

That symbol on the cube that glowed is not ,,Aaravos's symbol" it is the general symbol for anything connected to Star magic. It is just assosiated with him... Mainly because he is old, and he is the only ,,known" Star-Touched Elf in history.

When you think about it, dying definitely would be the thing that would make a person reconsider their life choices...in the case of Viren.
As for Terry, when you think about it, the Earthblood Elves took no part in the war in the last season, so he likely doesn't have a personal beef with Viren or Claudia because of that...and when he talked about the 'Legendary Viren'...that could have been more how Claudia described him.
As for him being okay with her using Dark Magic...you'll just have to keep watching.

Agreed! You can actually divide each TDP season pretty neatly into groups of three episodes! I (lovingly) call S4 E1-3 'The Arc 2 Prologue'. It sets up where our characters are after the time skip and prepares us for their future story beats

I'll give The Dragon Prince this: it's not afraid to take big swings in telling its story, whether it be the themes, representation, characters or story beats. And if they swing and miss? The creators have taken genuine critiques on board for future seasons (a good example I can think of that has already happened is Amaya's character model!)
I can appreciate when a show acknowledges its own flaws and genuinely tries to fix them without discrediting/retconning what's already happened!

Yeah, I enjoyed but was a little confused by season 4 on my first watch, but having seen the rest of the series now, it makes a lot more sense when you think of it as like the early chapters of one long novel, with lots of set-up for future events

After I caught up on your reactions I went ahead and watched through the rest of the series. Last time I mentioned I only saw to the end of this season, but turns out I actually watched a few episodes into season 5 too. Honestly there's so much I'm looking forward to see you react to. Overall I'd say this season is a bit weaker, but to be fair covid happened around this time, so valid, and the seasons after pick right back up. I think season 6 is my favourite overall
